At Southwick Community Primary School we love Reading. We want children in our school to become enthusiastic, independent and reflective readers. Essentially, we want children to enjoy reading. There has been a list of 100 books compiled that you need to try and read before leaving Primary School.
We would love you to try it. We have a number of the books in school that you can borrow but please let a member of staff know if you are having trouble finding any. You could even try local libraries, where they have a great stock of books and wonderful events throughout the year.
If you and your child do read a book you could even think about writing a Book Review – you can get one of these from your child’s class teacher.
