Over the past year we have introduced a series of initiatives, with the support of the OPAL program that changes the way we look at play in our school.

We have consulted with parents, staff and children why we should do this, how important play is and how we can develop the yards. The OPAL team have a huge amount of experience on how to best develop school grounds in order to maximise play and learning.

Changing the way we play will have a positive impact on behavioural issues and will support children’s development, learning and how they manage risks.

“Do you know that Primary School Children spend 1.4 years of their life playing”

In our gallery of photos you can see how the yards have developed and the fun some of our children are having.
