Useful and Kind
Ava and Lilly were so kind this week when they wrapped toys for children who may need them. You are 2 amazing young ladies and we are so proud of you both! They delivered them in person to Graham at the Salvation Army too!

We have loved learning about William Morris this term and his use of repeating patterns in art and textiles. We created some fantastic art work of our own and then went outside to see what repeating patterns we could create using natural resources. Take a look at us in action!
We received the gold award for excellence in PE this week and we are so very proud-well done Mrs Waddell and everyone in school!
Some of the children in Year 4 attended the Silksworth Sports Complex active festival this week. The children had a fantastic time learning some new skills along with other schools across Sunderland. The children played games such as dodgeball, practiced their archery skills and even tried out some cheerleading poses. A great morning had by all.
PC Juliet Clark (PC Jules) is sadly retiring this week. She has worked tirelessly for our school and our community and she has been absolutely amazing in her role. She will be a massive miss and we all wish her the very best in her retirement. Good luck Jules!
