Year 5 Boccia finals!

Some of our Year 5 children were amazing today at the Tyne and Wear Boccia County finals today. They demonstrated great sportsmanship and resilience – well done!

Year 3 – DT

In DT, Year 3 have been looking at ways to make their shell structures stronger.  We looked at a variety of ways and then we tried them out with our friends.  Once we had tried each way, we made a decision about how we would make our own boxes stronger when we make them.  We also thought about what our boxes would look like.

Year 5 enjoy Camp of Champions…

We had a great time with the lovely people from Camp of Champions today in PE. We played football, handball, dodgeball and shipwrecks and had the best time!


Year 3 – British Science Week

This week is British Science Week and the theme is ‘Curiosity – What is your question?’ The children thought hard about different questions they would like to answer and we carried out a variety of investigations.

Year 5 Science Week…

We researched, we designed, we made AND we tested our very own Mars Rovers! We looked at the rovers of the past (and future) and then made our own that could withstand the cold, terrain and lack of gravity on Mars and we had a great time!
