Today we used our observation skills to categorise materials into soluble and insoluble. We placed different solids (tea, coffee, salt etc…) in beakers with warm water and stirred to see if they dissolved and made a solution-our predictions were very close!
Year 6 became invertebrate investigators, exploring the school grounds to see what minibeasts they could find! They carefully observed the animals and took photographs and then created detailed sketches. They then used their observations to identify and classify the invertebrates, looking closely at their different characteristics and features.
