Today we looked at the importance of Ramadan and Eid to Muslims. We looked at how the religion and fasting is about empathy and putting yourself in the position of those less fortunate, as well as giving to charity. We then made Mosques out of Lego and could name each feature too-we had a great time!

She delivered an engaging assembly about Nissan, exploring its history and the wide range of careers available there. In DT, Year 3 have been looking at ways to make their shell structures stronger. We looked at a variety of ways and then we tried them out with our friends. Once we had tried each way, we made a decision about how we would make our own boxes stronger when we make them. We also thought about what our boxes would look like.

We had a great time with the lovely people from Camp of Champions today in PE. We played football, handball, dodgeball and shipwrecks and had the best time!
This week is British Science Week and the theme is ‘Curiosity – What is your question?’ The children thought hard about different questions they would like to answer and we carried out a variety of investigations.
