Year 5 Greek Food Tasting…

Feta cheese, olives, pitta bread, vegetables and tzatziki-we tried them all! Some we loved and some we didn’t but we made sure we tried everything!

Year 5 Eid Festival…

Today we looked at the importance of Ramadan and Eid to Muslims. We looked at how the religion and fasting is about empathy and putting yourself in the position of those less fortunate, as well as giving to charity. We then made Mosques out of Lego and could name each feature too-we had a great time!


Year 5 Nissan Enrichment Day…


Nissan Engagement Day!

Today, we had a fantastic visit from Robyn, who works at the Nissan plant in Sunderland. She delivered an engaging assembly about Nissan, exploring its history and the wide range of careers available there. Year 3 – Nissan

Southwick Primary were lucky enough to have a visit from Robyn from Nissan today. She told us lots about the Sunderland Nissan factory and how we could maybe work there in the future.

We also designed our very own vehicle and made this out of LEGO. We worked brilliantly with a partner to create them.
