Year 5 Sports with Jamie…

Today we did circuits and some athletics skills. We were wonderful with our effort and attitudes and we had a great time!


Year 5 Healthy Lifestyle Learning…

Today we had a visitor, Olivia, who taught us all about the importance of a healthy lifestyle. We found our resting heartrate then did some intense exercise then found our heartrate again-we were shocked at the increase!


Year 3 -D&T- Healthy sandwiches

In D&T, we have been learning all about making health sandwiches. We were given a design brief and had to ensure we met the design criteria. We tasted lots of different fillings, designed a sandwich, made our sandwich with our chosen healthy fillings and then evaluated the process. Look at some of our amazing sandwiches!


Year 5 Circuits…

We worked our socks off today and worked lots of different muscle groups! We all put in lots of effort and really enjoyed ourselves too!


Y3 Health Week- Kalma Life Yoga

What an amazing time we had with Melissa from Kalma life. She taught us how to breathe correctly and how to complete different yoga poses. We had lots of fun! Take a look at us in action!


Year 3 Cricket trip

On Thusday, a group of children enjoyed a fantastic trip to Ashbrooke Cricket Ground, where they worked together in teams to complete a variety of fun cricket activities in the sunshine. It was wonderful to see everyone encouraging one another, listening carefully to instructions, and trying their very best throughout the session. Year 5 Yoga…

The lady from Kalma Life showed us some yoga poses and how to calm our mind and body. It was a lot harder than it looked but we had a great time!


Year 5 Fruit Tasting…

We had 3 types of melon, blackberries, peaches, grapes, kiwi and raspberries to name but a few-we loved it!


The Phoenix Project…

Year 5 and 6 children became young fire figthers and worked with Tyne and wear Fire Brigade for 1 week! They did drills, rescued dummies, used the hoses and gas masks too-they had a great time!
