This week year 4 became explorers and went out into our school grounds to look for living things. First we had to recap the seven life processes and discussed the difference between vertebrate and invertebrate. Outside we found lots of different invertebrates, we carefully collected them to look at their exoskeletons further, before returning them sensibly. We also investigated leaves and trees, identifying how they are living and what happens during seasonal change. We had lots of fun!
