This week, Year 2 have been revisiting all of the skills we learned last year, mainly focussing on numbers from 0 to 20. We have used a range of maths resources to represent these numbers including, denes, counters and tens frames. We have learned how to identified numbers 0 to 20 using words and not just the numeral. To do so, we have used our phonics knowledge to identify sounds and blend words together. We have impressed our Year 2 teachers with how hard we have tried this week, keep it up!
