Year 1 had a fantastic day visiting Washington Wetland Centre. The children took part in activities led by Ava, a fun puppet who was half human and half osprey, and helped them learn about habitats and wildlife. One of the highlights of the day was watching the otters being fed, which the children really enjoyed. They also loved seeing the birds and animals up close. The visit supported our learning about living things and encouraged curiosity and outdoor exploration.
