This week we have been learning about Halloween. We have read stories such as ‘Room on the Broom’ and ‘Funny Bones’ and singing lots of Halloween songs. We have enjoyed scooping out pumpkins and using them to make pumpkin soup! We have particularly enjoyed dressing up in a range of costumes, exploring Halloween jelly in a sensory tray and creating our own artwork of witches, ghosts and pumpkins.
Before breaking up for half term we enjoyed coming into school in our Halloween outfits and having a disco! Throughout the day, we explored using torches to search for Halloween characters, helped ghosts to fly using magnets and sang Halloween songs. Check out all the fun we had below!
