This week, Reception had a wonderful time celebrating their Christmas party, all dressed in their festive outfits and ready to join in the fun. The children enjoyed playing a variety of exciting games, including Pass the Parcel, Santa Freeze, and Christmas Corners, and also took part in a fun dance competition where they showed off their best moves. There were plenty of delicious snacks and sweet treats to enjoy, making the celebration even more special. It was a joyful and memorable way for Reception to celebrate the festive season together!
The children enjoyed making Christmas crafts for their families, including festive Christmas tree cards, colourful ribbon baubles, and seasonal calendars. They also made magical reindeer dust to take home, ready for Christmas Eve.
The children eagerly lined up to meet Santa, filled with excitement and smiles. Santa warmly greeted each child, listened to their Christmas wishes, and gave them a special gift.
At the end of the week, our Reception children did a fantastic job spreading festive cheer during the beautiful Christmas choir. They sang a range of well-loved Christmas songs with confidence, while also doing really well with their signing in Makaton, showcasing all their hard work and practice.
