Today, we began learning about light in Science. We learned about light sources and how darkness is the absence of any light. We investigated how much light we needed to be able to see. Our teacher hid items underneath a box and we had to look through small holes to see if we could identify the objects. We predicted how many holes we would need to put in the box before we would be able to see. It took 20 holes and we identified a wooden spoon and a red car.
Some of our year 5 children took part in a bowling competition today and had a brilliant time! They worked very well together as a team and enjoyed cheering each other on. A huge shout out to Benjamin who scored the highest number of points in the whole competition!

Year 1 went on a spring walk to look for signs of spring. The children looked for flowers, buds on trees, and listened for birds. They enjoyed being outside and talked about what they could see. The children behaved very well and made us proud. We had a lovely time!
Feta cheese, olives, pitta bread, vegetables and tzatziki-we tried them all! Some we loved and some we didn’t but we made sure we tried everything!
As it was Eid last week, Year 3 took part in an exciting Eid scavenger hunt around the school grounds. They looked for different facts about Eid.
Reception had a fantastic time taking part in Red Nose Day activities, embracing the spirit of giving. The children were eager to get involved and enjoyed learning that even small actions can help support others in need. One of the highlights of the day was making Red Nose Day cakes and biscuit sandwiches. We carefully decorated some sweet treats with red icing, and we
We dressed up, we donated and then we had fun-thank you to everyone who donated to such a good cause!
