The half term Year 4 are very lucky to have extra P.E sessions with Red House Academy learning badminton. The children loved their first session today understanding how to use a shuttlecock and racket. Lots of fun was had by all!
The children loved spending some time in the snow this week, the cold certainly did not bother them!
Class 10 were the best attenders in the whole school this week and had hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows and a biscuit as a prize for winning! We are going to try really hard to win again next week. Fingers crossed!

In year 5 we looked at the cost of shopping at Asda and Aldi. We found the price of items, totalled them and compared them. We used scaling to work out the cost for 8 and 12 people and were shocked at the difference in price!

On Tuesday 16th November, our Year 6 students visited to sing for the staff and residents, and it was absolutely lovely. Their performances were full of energy and joy, truly spreading Christmas cheer throughout the day. It was such a heart-warming experience that we would love to do again, bringing smiles and festive spirit to everyone involved.

Everyone was amazing this year in our annual competition from The hub to Year 6. We had special guests, Mrs Ord, Mrs Walmsley and Councillor Butler helping Mr Robson and Miss Thexton judge too. Our friends from Redhouse came down to watch and everyone had a wonderful time! A big well done to Nursery and Year 5 who were the overall winners-we can’t wait
