Some of our Year 5 children had a great day at STEMFEST. They enjoyed taking part in a variety of interactive workshops, presentations, exhibitions, and competitions that celebrated the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
In our ‘changing materials’ topic we moved onto separating materials using evaporation, sieves, magnets and filter paper. We investigated how to separate salt and water, rice and sand and rice and paper clips-we had a great time!

Year 2 had an amazing time at Holy Trinity Church, exploring the meaning of Harvest. We learnt all about the Creation Story through a puppet show and discussed what we are grateful for in life. Year 3 are still learning about collage and the artist we focused on this week was Andy Goldsworthy. Andy is known for creating collages using natural resources. We created our own natural collages using natural resources we found around the school grounds.
