Today, we celebrated European Languages Day and we focused on Italy. We all came in dressed in red, green and white to represent the flag. We learned lots of new facts about Italy, including, what continent it belongs to, the climate, famous landmarks and the types of food and drink they have there.
Next, we made our very own Venetian masks. After dinner, we had an Italian food tasting session where we tasted pizza, mozzarella, olives and salami. The children were very brave and tried foods they hadn’t tasted before.
