In Year 3 we have been learning all about Sukkot. Sukkot is a Jewish festival lasting seven days. It remembers the Israelites living in temporary shelters after leaving Egypt. Families eat meals in a sukkah, and the Etrog is a special citrus fruit used during prayers. Sukkot is also a harvest festival giving thanks for crops and food.
