Today, KS2 children were lucky to have a visit from Dr David Stellon from the University of Sunderland to deliver a fun assembly all about World Anatomy Day. We learned about… What is anatomy, Who needs to know anatomy for their job and the he anatomy of voice – specifically how we speak – looking at how the larynx makes sounds and how we shape sound into speech and singing.
Scientists from around the North-East region will be delivering a FREE event at the Fire Station, Sunderland on Sunday 12th October. Please see the school app for more details!
