On Friday 7th November we were lucky enough to take 36 pupils and 4 staff to a fabulous experience at the Sunderland Empire theatre. We spent the morning on a backstage tour, seeing props, costume and scenery, we could take a look in areas where the public are not normally allowed and listened to some very interesting ghost stories!
In the afternoon we had fabulous seats for the Birmingham Royal Ballet’s production of Beauty and the Beast which we all thoroughly enjoyed.
Ms. Lingwood was bursting with pride because she was stopped by three different members of the audience on the way out who all wanted to praise our pupils for their excellent behaviour. Well done Southwick!
