The Hub children had a fantastic time joining in with our whole-school Space Week!
Throughout the week, they explored the exciting world of space through a range of fun, hands-on activities. They enjoyed singing and joining in with space-themed songs, sequenced the planets and talked about their position in our solar system.
The children also enjoyed reading Whatever Next! and worked collaboratively to sequence the main events from the story, developing their communication, comprehension and teamwork skills.
To finish off their space adventure, the children used junk modelling materials to design and build their very own rockets. Once their rockets were ready, they imagined blasting off and zooming all the way to the moon!
It was a fantastic week of exploring, creating, learning and having lots of space-themed fun together!
