The children had lots of fun learning about minibeasts during our outdoor learning session. Using magnifying glasses, they went on a minibeast hunt around the school grounds to see what they could find.
They discovered worms, woodlice, spiders, and beetles hiding in the grass and under leaves. The children carefully collected some worms and worked together to make a wormery using soil, sand, and leaves. The children enjoyed exploring nature and learning about how worms help the soil.
