Homework and Spellings
Year 3 homework will be issued on a Friday and must be returned by Wednesday the following week. Spellings test will be on a Friday.
Year 4 Homework Summer 2019
This term we are sending homework in a different format. The table below shows you the choices of homework you have to complete over the summer term. Choose 1 task each week.
Each piece of homework will work on a points system – given when returned to school.
In July the points for each child will be totalled and prizes will be given out for the top 3 scores per class.
In addition to this homework you MUST continue to practise your times tables every night and use Times Tables Rockstars regularly. Your challenge is to complete 15 games a week! Spellings will still be given out ready for spelling tests on a Friday and please continue to read your home reader. Additional points may be given out for these tasks too.
If your child has any problems with their homework, please pop in to see the teacher who set it we are always happy to help!
Reading books will be changed once your child has finished reading them. We ask that children read at home three times a week but bring their home reader into school daily.
Year 3 P.E will take place on a Thursday and Year 4 P.E will take place on a Friday. Please ensure your child has their P.E kit in school from a Monday and left in all week as children need a kit to take part in any lunch time or after school clubs.
We have so many P.E. activities that we always need to be prepared!
