Wellbeing is the state of being comfortable, healthy, or happy.
Emotional wellbeing – this includes being happy and confident and not anxious or depressed.
Psychological wellbeing – this includes the ability to be autonomous, problem-solve, manage emotions, experience empathy, be resilient and attentive.
Social wellbeing – has good relationships with others and does not have behavioural problems, that is, they are not disruptive or violent.
In school we have a Wellbeing/Mental Health Lead – Helen Ellison.
If you have any concerns do not hesitate to contact her for support.
Papy ‘R’ Us – A national organisation focused around suicide prevention for young people.
Mental Health Matters – A large organisation that offers a number of services in Sunderland including Service User Voice Group and Advocacy Services.
